The Truth About Doppelgängers and Other Conspiracy Theories: There's One in Every Class
I have always wanted to write a book. People are fascinating and after teaching primary children for 37 years (over 1000 children so far), I decided the time was right and I finally sat down in 2017 to write my novel. What was supposed to be a six month project, turned into a three year marathon struggle with work, stress and illness; culminating in a serious dose of sciatica that caused such pain and tiredness I had to lie down at the back of my classroom on the floor one day after school had finished, falling asleep and waking up to find a cleaner and half a dozen staff panicking around me, thinking I had passed away!
A few months later and I have finally finished and published the first book in my planned series, The Truth About Doppelgängers and Other Conspiracy Theories: There’s One in Every Class. I am no Emily Bronté or DH Lawrence by any means, but I have enjoyed writing this book and hope you enjoy listening to my short introduction to There’s One in Every Class.
