We want everyone who joins our community, as a pupil, member of staff, parent, grandparent, community partner or friend, develops a mutually beneficial and lasting relationship with George Watson’s College. A relationship that lasts a lifetime.
Our pupils will go on to do well in many areas of business, the professions, the media and arts, academia, sport and public service across the world; but, we want their education to be richer than what can be learnt in the classroom, in a music studio, or on a sports field.
We want our pupils to have real life-changing experiences at school that will help them through all the stages of their lives. And, that is why our community is so important.
We want Watson’s pupils to learn as much from supporting and learning from others through our Watsonian Network, access and outreach programmes and charity work. We want them to have real life-changing experiences at school that will help them through all the stages of their lives. And, that is why our community is so important.
Through our charity work, we fundraise for a number of organisations who demonstrate a positive impact upon those they help, and where such support can be used towards building sustainable solutions. We also provide opportunities for our staff and pupils to engage with our community and school partners through our outreach programmes.
Worldwide Watsonian Network
George Watson’s College Development Office and a team of Watsonians volunteers around the world, support our community network. We keep in touch through our website and Caritas magazine and hold social events including dinners and reunions. Ours is a global network of shared values and experiences.
