We are delighted you are considering Watson’s for your child’s education. Our main entry points are Preschool, Primary 1, Primary 6, Primary 7 and Senior 1 but we also welcome applications for other year groups. If you are interested in your child joining Watson’s this session please contact admissions@gwc.org.uk or call 0131 446 6005. 

Applications for Session 2025/26 remain open and we welcome applications for all year groups. 

Please note we have allocated financial support for Session 2025/26 and are no longer able to accept applications that require financial support for the next School Session. You are able to apply for a place with financial support for Session 2026/27 onwards.

When making an application you will need a  copy of your child’s passport and full extract of their birth certificate. We also require any information related to support for learning including documentation of diagnosis or confirmed support provided to your child. Please note the application fee is £85. 

We ask that you provide the name and contact information for any individual who has parental rights and responsibilities for the child. We have a legal obligation to ensure that any individual with parental rights and responsibilities is aware of an application to join Watson’s. Failure to provide contact information may result in the application being withdrawn.  

If you require a Student Child Visa please tick yes to the question on the form below and complete the questions regarding ability to study in the UK. The application fee for applicants requiring a Student Child Visa is £150. If a place is offered, and you choose to accept, we ask for one term’s fees in advance.

We require international applicants applying to Primary 6 - Senior 6, whose first language is not English, to complete the Cambridge A2 Key for Schools qualification and submit the completed certificate with this application. For further information on how and where to complete the Cambridge Assessment please visit Cambridge English Qualification.
