Development Officer (Database and Stakeholder Engagement)

Salary: Grade 4 (£30,500 - £34,750)

Hours 36.25 per week, 52 weeks per year

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join our Development Team. This key role will focus on fostering and developing lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholder groups, including Watsonians, pupils, parents, donors and staff, alongside the management of our stakeholder (CRM) database, Raiser’s Edge.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be a highly personable and organised team player who possesses outstanding communication and relationship-building skills (including across print, digital and social media). The ability to help plan and deliver innovative events is essential and should come with experience and expertise in managing a CRM database, as well as an understanding of prospect research and fundraising.

Whilst direct experience of a similar fundraising or membership role is essential, we are equally keen to hear from applicants who have the right skill-set and are looking for a new challenge.

This is a full time, year round post with the requirement for some evening and weekend work, as well as travel within Scotland and the UK. Flexibility is therefore required.
