Welcome to The Pavilion at Myreside

The Pavilion at Myreside is a cafe, bar, and venue hire facility conveniently located 10 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, close to the vibrant neighbourhood of Morningside.

The Pavilion is situated amongst beautiful green fields with mature trees and panoramic views of Edinburgh, Corstorphine Hill and Fife, making it the perfect spot for a bite to eat, conference, wedding or celebration of any kind.

Elegantly restored in 2022, The Pavilion is a community space, open to everyone to enjoy our fantastic cafe, bar and venue hire facilities.

During the restoration, we introduced the welcome addition of a lift, making the building fully accessible to those with extra mobility needs.

The Cafe

The Cafe at The Pavilion is the perfect place for a tasty breakfast, lunch or homemade treat.

Our menu focuses on simple, delicious food, homemade with seasonal produce, or locally sourced from quality artisans.

We have a cosy, inviting interior, as well as excellent outdoor seating, surrounded by greenery and beautiful views.

Monday-Friday: 8.30am-4:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: 9am-4:30pm

A very pleasant place right next to Colinton Road. Really good latte. Lovely view from the large window where my seat was. Very affordable

Had lunch there the other day - good range of menu possibilities for a small establishment. Home made Portobello Mushroom soup was particularly delicious. Followed by a large slice of baguette stuffed with tuna mayo filling, accompanied by leaves and crisps. Fresh taste and attractive presentation. No room for afters, though the chocolate brownies looked very tempting! Bill came to £12 for the two of us - cheaper than staying at home! Fabulous open views over sports pitches. On-site parking available.

Playtime at the Pavilion

In The Cafe, we have a children's activity corner with colouring, reading and toys to keep little minds busy! We also have an outdoor games box with frisbees, giant Jenga, ring toss, velcro-catch, footballs and more to take advantage of our beautiful front lawn and outdoor seating area.

Please put toys away after use so that everyone can play!

The Bar

The second floor public bar with its panoramic views of the city has been refurbished as a contemporary and inviting space complete with large balcony, as well as cosy nooks, perfect for catching up with friends.

The Bar has four large-screen HD TVs, perfect for watching the game. Enjoy a drink whilst sampling some of our tasty bar snacks.

Lovely reshaping of an old sports Pavilion. Ample parking and easy access to ground and upstairs levels. Excellent breakfast enjoyed, and served by efficient and well trained staff.
Very good well stocked bar upstairs to watch the rugby in, and a superb veranda to view the cricket from. Huge thanks to all for their willingness to accommodate and serve a group gathering.

Our talented chefs and attentive front-of-house team will be onsite to ensure the smooth running of any occasion. Whilst we have a selection of sample menus available, our chefs are always happy to work with you to create the perfect bespoke menu for your event.

Such a shame the fire destroyed so much, however the new building is lovely. While modern builds will never have the character of older ones, it's a lovely bright space and was perfect to have a birthday party. Staff are amazing and the food is great. Will be back a lot more often!

Went to a recent function at Myreside Pavilion and thought that the place was well suited for the party. The staff were very helpful and friendly on the night. Many thanks indeed.
