After 150 days, we welcomed all of our pupils back to Session 2020/21.
Although there are some new measures and habits to get used to, the buzz around the school and excitement to be back in the fold, to learn and to be together, has been lovely and we wish our pupils a happy and productive school year.
This week we held our first-ever digital assembly, which was delivered live to a small group of pupils and streamed into classrooms throughout the rest of the Senior School. Of course, some things never change and the house competition will kick off with our annual ‘House Blooter’ next week, also adapted to be physically distanced and digital-friendly.
The last few months have been especially challenging, but it has shown the dedication of our teachers, support staff, and of our pupils to our community and to our school.
We were delighted to see our pupils’ excitement on their first day back, via photos sent in by parents through our #GWCTogetherAgain campaign.
