To mark 150 years since the founding of the George Watson’s Ladies’ College, a special tapestry has been designed by Scottish Artist, Andrew Crummy (Designer of The Great Tapestry of Scotland) with former pupils and the wider school community creating one of the 16 panels that will form the new crewelwork embroidery.

George Watson’s College boy’s under-16 rugby team scored seven tries to win the National Schools Cup final at BT Murrayfield on Wednesday afternoon.

The Advanced Higher Modern Studies Crime and Justice Conference, held on 24 November, was a unique opportunity to get information and insight from experts in the field, who shared their personal experiences and thoughts on the changes needed in the Justice System.

George Watson's College marked Remembrance on 12 November.
The proceedings began with the Rededication of the George Watson’s College War Memorial, in commemoration of Watsonians Ruby Grierson (1903-40) and Irene Bathgate (1920-1941).
