As you can see from reviewing the statistics, our pupils have been celebrating their individual achievements, having worked hard and excelled throughout the academic year. The outlook is extremely positive which is a true reflection of the dedication and hard work of every pupil.
Head of Senior School, Gordon Boyd said: "After many months of focused hard work followed by several weeks of nervous anticipation, SQA results for our S4, S5 and S6 pupils have finally been received. We're delighted that the effort has been rewarded and that our pupils' results are excellent! In several cases, pupils have achieved even better grades than they hoped for. With several elements of SQA assessment such as coursework and practicals still affected by the pandemic, teachers have skilfully tailored teaching and support and pupils have made very good use of the feedback offered. It is especially pleasing to know that our leavers have secured the grades they need for college or university."
He continued: "Best wishes to them and congratulations to all of our pupils who should take pride in the achievements that are recognised today. And thank you to everyone - especially teachers and parents - for so much valued support."
Of course, success at Watson's is never just about exam results, however, those grades are incredibly important to our pupils as they take the next steps in their lives. Thank you to all our colleagues and parents for the part they have played in making sure that so many can now take those next steps with such confidence.
Congratulations to all.
