During the 2020 lockdown, #GWClinked brought our community together and allowed pupils, parents and staff to share and connect over social media, during a time of separation.
To help keep our Watson’s community together over this lockdown, we have relaunched our #GWClinked campaign.
It’s been inspiring to see the fantastic work and activities that our pupils, parents and teachers have been involved in such as outdoor learning, taking part in acts of kindness, exploring Edinburgh and having fun in the snow.
We’ve also seen into the inner workings of our virtual school and the fantastic work being produced by our pupils from Primary 2 artwork to depict the colourful fish of Lake Malawi to our GWC Sport rugby skills challenges and MUN meetings.
As part of the campaign, our Principal has also launched a series of challenges related to the history of our school. The first ‘Principal’s Pop Quiz’ has been launched on our Twitter page @Gwc_News, with more to come.
