Children's Commissioner for Scotland delivers talk on children's rights
As part of Global Education fortnight, our S1 Pupils welcomed a very special guest speaker. Bruce Adamson, the Children and Young People’s Commissioner in Scotland delivered a thought provoking talk centred around his role in making sure children’s rights are respected and the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

Watson's pupils fund life-saving equipment for Malawi hospital
Women in a region of Malawi are set to benefit from new life-saving equipment for the preventative treatment
of cervical cancer, thanks to funding from our pupils and the Watson’s Malawi Partnership (WMP). -
Scottish Relay Championships
A number of our pupils celebrated success in the 4x200m relays running for Edinburgh Athletics Club at the Scottish Relay Championships Final held during the first evening of the European Indoor Athletics Championships at the Emirates in Glasgow on 1 March.

Young Enterprise Awards
Our S5 pupils taking part in this year's Lothian Young Enterprise had a very successful Awards night on Thursday 28 March coming away with seven awards in total. This year saw three teams from George Watson's compete against 21 other teams from across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
