    Chemistry Club Expands Horizons

Members of the S1 Chemistry Club visited the Edinburgh International Science Festival's Experimentarium at Summerhall. Whilst there, pupils learned about the science of food safety, visited the unique Artiscience library – which coincidentally had some exam papers from Watson's in the early 20th century – and tried out insightful virtual reality simulations of patients with Alzheimer's.

After a 24-hour journey, beginning at Turnhouse and ending in Long Beach, we enjoyed what can only be described as a glorious night’s sleep on board the Queen Mary, before taking on Disneyland the next day... which was simply magical.
