Pipe Band Trip to Long Beach, Los Angeles
For Edinburgh, a relatively dreary Tuesday morning; for GWC Pipe Band, something quite the opposite. Our American adventure began at Edinburgh airport on Tuesday 13 February. A short flight to Heathrow, followed by a long flight to the United States saw us land in LAX. Before we knew it, our adventure had begun. After a 24-hour journey, beginning at Turnhouse and ending in Long Beach, we enjoyed what can only be described as a glorious night’s sleep on board the Queen Mary, before taking on Disneyland the next day... which was simply magical.
