HMC (The Heads’ Conference) today announced the appointment of our Principal Lisa Kerr, as the next Chair of the HMC Board, taking up the role for the 2027/2028 academic year. She will succeed Dr Anne Cotton, Head of KCS Wimbledon.

This week began with Blue Monday, the day labelled the most depressing of the year. So, what better antidote to the short days and grey skies than the inspiring stories of Watson’s pupils who are living our motto Ex Corde Caritas by bringing a little ‘Love from the Heart’ to their communities. Our Principal Lisa Kerr reflects on the ways in which just some of our pupils are making a difference.

The Stewart Lockhart Collection of artworks, artifacts, papers and photographs was amassed by former Watson’s pupil Sir James Haldane Stewart Lockhart and was gifted to Watson’s in 1967 by his daughter Mary Stewart Lockhart – also known as the pioneering designer Betty Joel.
