Accelerated Reading Programme

Primary 7 are piloting the Accelerated Reading programme this year. Detailed information about this can be found at www.renlearn.com. This requires children to read books from a published list within their own ZPD range (Zone of Proximal Development) and then take a quiz about that book. Many of the books are held in the School Library, but it was felt that it would be useful for parents to be able to access this list so that books may be bought or borrowed from other libraries as well. Two lists are available - one in author order and the other in ZPD range order. These lists can be downloaded below:
