George Watson's College Equestrian Club caters for enthusiastic boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Riding lessons are provided for beginners, novice, intermediate and advanced riders at Tower Farm riding school. Some pupils enjoy polo lessons at Kinross Polo Club, whilst others represent the school in showjumping and cross country competitions, under the leadership of Chef d’equipe, Gillian Wilson.

Pupils also have the opportunity to sit the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) exams as they progress through the various stages. In addition, members of the Club meet socially; the highlight of the calendar being the annual Christmas night out.

Last year, the Club enjoyed a trip to the London International Horse Show at Earls Court, Olympia. This was a very special year as it was the centenary of the first international horse show ever to be held in the historic Grand Hall. The trip is on hold this year due to Mrs Wilson's maternity leave but should be up and running again in future.
