Primary 2

Leaf artIn Primary 2 further work continues on the three pillars of the curriculum (Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing) developed and supported by active learning.

Cross-curricular topics are structured to provide a purpose for learning and also to reinforce these core skills, affording many opportunities for pupils to practise and rehearse in a variety of contexts. Alongside this, children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and begin to set their own personal, achievable targets.

Children explore the world beyond the Lower Primary and begin to use the extensive facilities that a large campus has to offer.  One of the highlights of the Primary 2 calendar is the class musical that celebrate the children’s work.  They offer every pupil the opportunity to further develop presentation, acting, listening and talking skills in an entertaining way.
