Scottish Medals for our Athletes

At the recent Scottish Schools’ Athletics and Relay Championships our Senior School squads came away with seven gold medals, eight silver, and two bronze medals.

In the relay competition the U14 boys – Lewis McLean (S1), Gregor Nelson, Murray Scott, Fraser Cousin (all S2) – and the U15 girls – Lucy Gray (S3), Katie Robinson, Iona Smith, Natalie Robbins (all S2) – both won gold medals. The U14 and U17 girls and the U15 boys won silver, and both the U19 boys and U19 girls won bronze medals.

In athletics, Josh Kerr (S3) won both the U15 800m and the U15 1,500m gold medals; Ben Robbins (S4) won gold in the U17 400m and silver in the U17 200m; and Natalie Robbins in the U14 Shot Putt and Kirsten Peters (S5) in the U19 800m won gold medals.

Jack Forrester (S1 – U14 High Jump); Kirsty McKean (S4 – U17 Triple Jump); Jake Kerr (S4 – U17 Discus); and Seumas Thomson (S5 – U19 400m Hurdles) won silver medals.
