Bar Hours

Our bar provides a venue for all members to socialise in a relaxed setting. We review our hours of opening weekly and can increase them on occasion, depending on the activities taking place in a particular week. We are also open for bar lunches on the last Thursday of every month. Bar lunches are also available EVERY Saturday.

Members and their guests should be aware of the new Challenge 25 law. All those who are under 25, or appear under 25, must show their ID (passport, photo driving license, Pass card) before they can be served in any licensed premise.

Bar hours may change if fixtures alter or are weather affected.

Afternoon Tea

Available on a daily basis from 3pm-5pm.

Bar Lunches

Available the last Thursday of the month.

Membership

As a member, you can benefit from all Myreside's facilities, including our bar with its wonderful outlook over our playing fields and beyond. Alternatively, you may wish to use our catering and function service. We offer members a unique venue at discounted rates. Join now and find out what Myreside has to offer.

Membership is free for anyone in the following categories:

• Watsonian
• Partners and children over 18 of Watsonians
• Parents of Watsonians or current pupils
• Invited playing and non-playing Members of Sports Sections
• Invited playing Members of Sports Sections following retirement from playing
• Members of Galleon at George Watson's College

House membership is available for people who are proposed and seconded by members of the Club
Standard subscription is £15 per annum (£5 for students / U21 / Over 65).

Associate Membership is available for anyone under the age of 18 and who is either: in S6 at Watson's; an FP of the School;  a member of staff; or a child of a member.

Our function service caters for diverse events. Myreside specialises in fabulous food and a superb customer care ethic. You will be looked after all the way.

We have function rooms of various sizes and are available for hire. Our service includes hire of the room and the setting up of furniture. Room hire, Day Delegate rates and room layouts are detailed below.

This is just a sample of our banqueting menu. We also offer hot and cold buffets, children's menus, barbeque menus and a wine list. We can also organise specialised 18th, 21st birthday parties and weddings.

Your menu can be designed to suit your budget and type of event – please book a full consultation with a member of the Myreside staff.
