Euan Kennedy (Class of 1972)
Euan Kennedy attended Watson's from Primary 1, as did his father Gilbert, a Past President of the Watsonian Club.
Euan achieved School colours in rugby, cricket, basketball and volleyball. After School Euan continued to play both cricket and rugby for Watsonians whilst studying for a degree in Civil Engineering at Edinburgh University.
He became a Chartered Engineer in 1983 and worked for Edinburgh Council in a variety of roles and became Road Services Manager and is currently responsible for the management and maintenance of all Council owned roads, pavements, cycleways, signs and streetlights with approximately 400 staff and a £40m budget.
Euan married his wife Pam in 1980 and their two sons Scott and Jamie were both educated at Watson's. He has been the manager of Scotland U18 Rugby team for 11 years. |
