2007 Reunion
The 2007 Reunion took place on Saturday 6 October 2007.
The former pupils who attended the School had a wonderful day, catching up with old friends and former staff. We enjoyed welcoming former pupils from as far afield as California and Vancouver, and nearer home from Tiree to Cambridge. One former pupil even paid a quick visit after a flight back from the USA on Saturday, before traveling to India the next day.
Mr Ian Thomson, (Class of 1942) was photographed with his son-in-law Hamish Learmont, (Class of 1969), who was visiting the School, and granddaughter, Catherine Learmont (Class of 1997). Catherine, who is now an art teacher, enjoyed visiting her old teachers in the Art Department, which was open for visitors and prospective parents during the School's Open Morning.
Everyone enjoyed a drinks reception and buffet supper in the School in the evening. As always in the Development Office we enjoyed meeting up with you all.

The biggest ever reunion
The biggest ever reunion organised by the Development Office took place on Saturday 9 June 2007. The George Square Ladies' Reunion was a resounding success with over 640 former pupils and staff attending. The quad in Colinton Road named George Square was formally opened by May Nicol, former Head of History at George Square Ladies' College and Deputy Headmistress of Colinton Road. Liz Smith MSP gave a wonderful oration, and most of the ladies who attended visited the premises in George Square.
Thank you to all who attended.
