Cricketers Picked for Scotland Under-17s

Despite Watson’s disappointment at the weekend when the 1st XI were beaten in the final of the East Schools' Cup by Merchiston, three of our boys are celebrating, having been selected to play for Scotland Under-17s in the English & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Championships next month.
Tom Barrett (S6), Andrew Chalmers (S5) and Chris Cash (S2) will play in a 2-day match against Cumbria on 2 – 3 July. Mr Alan Patterson, who teaches English at Watson’s, coaches the Scotland Under-17 team.
