Classic Wins in St Andrews

Eight pupils went to St Salvator’s College at St Andrews University to take part in the St Andrew's Classics and Latin recitation competition on Wednesday and all came away with a prize.
Abi Storey, Nilah Ulhaq, Claire Errington, Caitlin Stark, Elizabeth Boyd and Catriona Melville (all S1) presented their "divine elections" projects, promoting their companies (Hermes and Eros' "Hugs and Kisses" agency, and the Athene airline and travel company), winning first prize with their drama, promotion leaflets and presentations.
In the Intermediate Latin recitation competition Paula Wood and Hamish White (both S3) won the first and second prize respectively.
