The Watson's
campus is a hub of activity - and not just during the school day.
During term time, we are on the go from 7.30am, when some of our Junior
School pupils arrive for the Breakfast Club. At the end of the day,
the After School Club provides children with a varied programme of
activities while all over the campus pupils and staff are involved
in a host of extra-curricular pursuits.
Evenings and weekends provide an opportunity
for all the family to get involved in the health and fitness programme
offered by the Galleon Club. Based in the PE Department,
the Galleon
Club is also busy during school holidays, when pupils can take
part in a number of sports camps. During the
summer holidays, there are a number of activities
to choose from, including various Galleon sports camps and the
Piping and Drumming
Summer School.
Our school is very much a community, and the Myreside Club provides
a focal point for parents, staff, former pupils and other members
of our community to get together in a relaxed setting.
We are fortunate to accommodate all this activity within our single,
well-equipped campus. We have excellent facilities here at Colinton
Road and, when they are not being used by the School, many of these
are available to the wider community.
