By Air

Edinburgh Airport is within easy reach of the School (25 minutes by car or taxi) and has regular scheduled flights to all parts of the UK and elsewhere.

By Rail

Rail users may travel to nearby Haymarket station (20 minutes by car or taxi) and Waverley Station (25 minutes by car or taxi) which are main line stations with regular service connections to Glasgow, other areas of Scotland and the UK.

By Road

Edinburgh is situated to the south of the Firth of Forth and with several major roads and motorways converging on it, can be easily reached from all parts of Scotland.

From the M8

At the roundabout at the end of the motorway keep to the right hand lane and follow the signs for the City Bypass, the South & East (A720). Continue on the City Bypass for approximately 2 miles to the Dreghorn exit (B701). Leave the dual carriageway by the slip road and at the end, turn left. Follow this road, straight ahead at the mini roundabout and left at the next roundabout (B701). Continue on this road until you reach traffic lights at the end, where you should turn right on to Colinton Road. Travel to the roundabout where you should turn left, continue along Colinton Road, straight ahead at the traffic lights, keep right at the mini roundabout and straight ahead at the next traffic lights. The entrance to the School will be on your right-hand side.

From the A1

At the end of the A1 branch left and at the roundabout take 1st exit, A720 (signposted Forth Road Bridge). At the Sheriffhall Roundabout take the 3rd exit. Travel to the Lothianburn Junction and branch left (signposted City Centre) and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit, A702. Continue to cross road bridge and at the ensuing roundabout continue forward. Travel to the Fairmilehead Crossroads and at the traffic signals continue straight ahead to Morningside. At the traffic signals continue forward and after 0.7 mile turn left into Colinton Road. The entrance to the School will be seen on the left-hand side.

On Arrival

Visitors are requested to report immediately to Reception.

Car Parking

Visitor car parking is available adjacent to Reception as shown on site plan as No.5.
