Hi! My name is Claudia. I was born in Florence, but for five years I have lived in Rome in Lazio. I am Italian. I am twenty six years old and I have a degree in medicine but I have not yet found a job. I live in a small flat near to centre of the town.

There are five people in my family: my father, my mother, my brother, my sister and me. My father is a dentist and my mother teaches at the primary school. My parents still live in Florence with my sister, Francesca; however, my brother lives in Bologna where he goes to university.

I have a dog who is called Gino who is quite old — he is eleven. I like animals a lot and I would like to have a couple of cats but the flat is too small.

I like living in Rome a lot: it is a very lively city. In my spare time I like going out with my friends, hill walking or cycling in the country. I also like reading and going to the cinema. I don't like cooking. When I have time I go to a sports centre near my home; I'm not very interested in sports but I like swimming and playing tennis.
