Exercise 2b: Using the Past Tense with pronouns

If you are unsure about the different types of pronoun, consult the grammar pages.
Remember the rule about preceding direct object pronouns!

Translate into Italian:

1. I saw him yesterday.

2. I didn't see her yesterday.

3. We didn't hear you.

4. You had the key; where did you leave it?

5. I sent a letter to him last week.

6. I sold him my books.

7. I bought her a cup of coffee.

8. She didn't want to speak to me.

9. I watched her but she didn't see me.

10. What beautiful shoes! Where did you buy them?
