A SINGLE CAMPUS

With over 50 acres of parkland campus near the centre of one of Europe's most beautiful cities, we offer our pupils the benefits of one large, integrated site. A single campus ensures that all activities from learning and teaching to sport, drama, music and many others, are within walking distance for our pupils and staff. Our campus also provides a sense of cohesion across all that we do and helps us to communicate well throughout the many areas of school life.

A walk around our campus reveals a mixture of tradition and innovation. The listed Main Building evokes the continuity that has accompanied our evolution from the charitable hospital of 1741 to the modern college. Behind it, the state-of-the art Technology Centre, award-winning Music School and imaginatively designed Lower Primary show something of the development and resources that support our forward-thinking approach to learning and teaching.

With generous playing fields, all-weather surfaces and one of Edinburgh's largest multi-purpose halls, our excellent teaching and study facilities are matched by provision for a host of extra-curricular activities.

Our campus also accommodates the Breakfast and After School Clubs for Junior School pupils, and our unique single site makes life easier for parents dropping off and collecting children from lessons or from any of the many after-school activities available.
